Combat Tips:
The enemies of this game need to be dispatched by walking into them at particular angles. If you go head on, you will die. Try to aim leaning on one of the sides as they come towards you. Preferably the one without weapons in the case of spearmen.
There are spearmen who will knock you back on their spearside , axemen and swordsmen who just hit you with more punch. And then some unarmed townsmen who die in one hit.
They have line of sight and will try to get you as soon as they can see you, bushes count for this BTW. The game is just one map, with multiple zones in it. If you go into say a house or back outside from the house , the enemies will all respawn. So don’t get too attached to killing them.
The key to winning is to give yourself the right angle and enough distance to walk into your enemies to death. Retreating is fine just make sure you have room. Try to avoid as much as you can.
Also movement can be a bitch, make sure to align properly with the door or else you won’t move, try nudging the arrow keys right or left of the thing you are trying to enter and pressing the key for the direction to get in. Be sure to not have enemies on you.
You don’t gain health unless you find a chest and there are only two of them in the game. One in the MILF house, and in the first floor of the manor to the left of where you enter. They’re red so you can’t miss them. You will fully heal from them just once so use them wisely.
